Loose cell with bare solderable cell tabs. While rated by the manufacturer at 20C, our testing indicates that these cells should be used at no more than 14C (4.2A) continous with short bursts up to 20C (6A). At 14C or higher rates cooling becomes very important, and your battery must have sufficient cooling airflow. Never allow your Li-Poly cells to exceed 150°F / 66°C. Note also that like most high-discharge rate Li-Polys, when the cells are cool they have a significant voltage drop at >12C discharge rates that goes away as the cell warms up. To prevent early triggering of your speed controllers low-voltage cutoff, avoid full throttle discharge early in your flight until the cells have time to warm up.
