This servo comes with a servo accessory package and is made with a heavy duty servo case with heat sink. This servo comes with JR/Hitec S Connector also known as a "Universal Connector". Note: Even thought this servo comes with JR/Hitec S Connectors, this servo is electrically compatible with Futaba receivers. Follow the wiring diagram below. If you hook this up incorrectly nothing bad will happen to the servo. Just flip the S connector and around and the servo will work correctly.

WARNING: Using the servo arm to turn the servo may cause the gears to break or jump and the
servo will stop functioning correctly. This is true for all servos regardless of servo manufacturer. This can also occur as a result of crash damage, hard landing, or improper servo installation. Caution: People have had trouble stripping the gears and/or burning out their Blue Bird servos with the Traxxas Revo. From customer feedback the problem is that the stock radio that comes with the Revo allows the servo to progress further than it should (the steering's range of travel is not enough for the servo). The servo still has a way to go but the steering has hit the end of its range of motion. This may lead to stripped servo gears/burn out. The problem is not a fault of the servo, it's just not compatible with the Revo's stock radio system. We have tried to contact Traxxas with this issue and they have not responded. The problem does not occur if other brands of receivers are used (JR, Futaba, Hitec, etc). Using these receivers, one can dial down the travel thus avoiding this problem.
