Light Weight Tissue (LW Tissue) is a light weight tissue made from polyester fibers. It replaces Japanese tissue on smaller models like Peanut Scale or small gliders. It is applied with a heat activated adhesive like Balsaloc
or Balsarite. LW Tissue is slightly porous and can be sealed with a light coat of dope. This is not essential because the material is already water resistant. However, for gas powered models use GM Tissue. Use the lowest heat setting to apply and shrink the material.
It weighs .673 ozs per square yard. Compare with Solarfilm's Litespan.
